Terms of Use

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, and have permission from a parent or guardian if you cannot legally agree to these terms yourself. You are responsible for information you submit and for using Ayla lawfully. Do not misuse the service, disrupt it, attempt unauthorized access, or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Ayla supports Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple Account secure and for activity under your Ayla account. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Access to some features may require an account or an active subscription.

Ayla provides general nutrition tracking and wellness information. Food recognition, portion sizes, calorie counts, and nutrient estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate, especially when generated from a photo. Review and correct estimates before relying on them. Ayla is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It must not be used to determine allergens, manage a medical condition, or replace qualified professional care. Seek professional advice about dietary decisions involving health conditions or specific medical needs.

Ayla offers paid features through auto-renewing subscriptions. The plan, billing period, price, currency, and any trial or introductory offer are shown before purchase in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the renewal deadline; cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge. Apple may charge for renewal during the 24 hours before the next period begins. The price shown at purchase and any applicable Apple notices govern your subscription.

You can review or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or through Apple’s subscription management page. Cancellation generally stops future renewals; paid access ordinarily continues through the current billing period, subject to Apple’s terms and applicable law. Deleting Ayla, deleting your account, or stopping use does not cancel a subscription. Purchases remain associated with the Apple Account used to buy them. Reinstalling Ayla does not create a new subscription; use the same Apple Account to restore eligible purchases.

If a free trial or introductory offer is available, its duration, eligibility, and subsequent price are shown before you accept. Unless canceled in time, an eligible trial may convert to a paid subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends to avoid a charge. Apple handles billing, applicable price-change notices, and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. You can request a refund through Apple. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights.

You retain your rights in the photos, entries, and other content you provide. You grant Ayla permission to process that content as needed to operate, maintain, and provide the features you request, subject to our Privacy Policy. Ayla’s software, branding, and original content remain owned by their respective rights holders. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app according to these terms and the applicable App Store license.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process account details, meal information, purchase information, and product analytics, including our use of PostHog. Review it to understand your choices and how to contact us about your data.

We may update or modify Ayla, including features and supported devices. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results. We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or material breaches of these terms. Where appropriate and legally required, we will give notice and explain available options. Changes to paid services remain subject to applicable law and Apple’s purchase terms.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ayla is provided on an “as available” basis without additional warranties beyond those required by law. We are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate food estimates, improper use, or matters outside our reasonable control, except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits statutory consumer protections. The laws and courts that apply are determined by applicable law, including any mandatory rights in your country of residence.

Apple is not responsible for operating Ayla or providing its support. Your use of the iOS app is also subject to the applicable Apple Standard End User License Agreement and Apple Media Services terms. Apple’s rules govern App Store transactions and apply where required.

We may revise these terms and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated where required. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using Ayla and cancel any subscription separately through Apple. For support or questions, contact contact@martillacleaning.com.
